Gran Turismo 5 Full Game
When we talk about the 'Full Game' of Gran Turismo 5 what do we mean?
Gran Turismo 5 prologue has been around for several months now and it has been a great success. It was decided to release Gran Turismo 5 prologue around a year before the release of the full game to give people a sniff at what they can expect from the full game. Gran Turismo 5 prologue is more than a demo game, but it is not the full game. It is somewhere in the middle. There are a range of different cars you can play with and a few of the main tracks but again it is not the full compliment that gamers will get in the full game.
Gran Turismo 5 full game will be out before the end of 2010 and is the final version of the game. Where Gran Turismo 5 prologue has 'some' of the new damage modelling, the full game will have this on many more cars. Sony have learnt a lot from the feedback they have received from Gran Turismo 5 prologue reviews and this will have fed back into the Gran Turismo 5 Full Game development to ensure that GT5 is as good as possible.
You could think of Gran Turismo 5 prologue as being the beta test for the full game. It is a product that is released into the market as a way of conducting research. Designers can find out what people like and dislike about the game and then when finalising the GT5 Full game ensure that any bigs are ironed out and enhancements made where possible.
Gran Turismo 5 Full game is expected to have a RRP of £49.99 but Amazon and other big online retailers are already taking pre orders for the Gran Turismo 5 full game at a discounted rate.
If you looking to buy a copy of GT5 then it is worth waiting a few months until the Full Game of Gran Turismo 5 is released. Otherwise we'd reccomend just getting a second hand copy (maybe off amazon) as once you've played the Gran Turismo 5 prologue you will without doubt want to get the GT5 Full Version when it is released.
