Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Cheats

Until the final version of GT5 is released in November 2010, we have listed all the known cheats for the GT5 Prologue game. As soon as the full version of the game is released we will updated the below list to include the latest top tips and cheats to give you that bit little extra that manybe you deserve.

With all the new features and cars that will be appearing in Gran Turismo 5 we are excited about all the new cheats and bonuses that will be programmed into the game. There are roumers that one cheat will unlock a previously unseen car. It is not known what car this may be but it is likely to be one of the leading manufacturers prototype cars. There has even been roumers that one cheat will release a new super track similar to the ones seen on Project Gotham Racing.

Cheat 1 - Earn $27,500 IN just 2.5 minutes

This is really simple to do and is a quick way of earning extra money. Normally you have to do a lap in under 47 secs to get Gold and earn this kind of bonus but this cheap helps you sail along. You have to load the S Class And pick to race in the Mines Skyline car. The tip is once the race starts do absolutely nothing.. just put the controller down for between 44-45 seconds. This gives other cars on the track time to get aroudn the course. It doesnt event matter if the car rolls backwards a bit. Now the next bit requires a bit of timing. When you see that the clock shows there is 9mins 16secs Remaining you need to start accelarating. It is important that you stay just underneith the yellow line until you are pretty much at turn 1 of the track. At this point you will see a car pass you by whcih you can chase.

By the time you finish the lap you should be able to draft nicely off the car as well as another slow car which puts your speed up to over 200mph by the tiem you pass the start / finish line. You are then able to pick up another car and draft off that round the first corner and using the yellow and white cars that are on the track down the back straoght. This makes it easy to get the gold and earn yourself the extra cash! Feel free to do this as many times as you like.

Cheat 2 - Get $2 MILLION Cheat Code

This is a simple button sequence cheat that gives you 2 Million. At any point during the game Press Pause, Then X, X, O, Square Square, R3

Cheat 3 - The QUick Cash Cheat

This is a easy cheat to earn you some money. It is believed that this cheat works in GT5 full gamne as well as Prologue. Go into the S Class garage and purchase the 'mines R34 Gt-r'. You don't need to modify it at all - now go and enter the Daytona Oval race. You earn the following cash for achieveing:

$42,500 for getting Gold (Under 47secs)
$35,000 for getting Silver (Under 49secs)
$32,500 for getting Bronze (Under 53secs)

As with this type of race you start from the pit lane and have 1 out lap to build up speed. Once you pass the start / finish line your next lap counts. Its relatively easy (compared to other tracks) to get the Gold award and pretty easy to get Silver. Bronze is childs play!. Once you finish the lap press Pause and exit to collect your winnings. This takes about 2 mins to do and you can do it as many times as you want.
