Gran Turismo 5 has been created exclusively for the Playstation 3 (PS3). The company behind the game , Polyphony Digital, have created the world's most realistic, true to life and comprehensive driving experience to users of the game. Gran Turismo 5 is without doubt one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2010 and possibly this century.
In the most recent of the Gran Turismo series, known as Gran Turismo 5, there are now more than 1000 licensed cars from the majority of the world's top brand and manufacturers. The number of circuits you are able to race on has also been increased to over 20 tracks. In GT5 There are more than 70 variations of these tracks and includes the famous world circuits, city courses, and many other new and exciting environments for you to thrash your cars around.
Gran Turismos features more exciting gameplay and modes to suit newcomers than ever before so you don't have to be a GT pro to be able to ejoy this game. At the same time there are plenty of differences to make it a totally new and interesting game for automotive enthusiasts, and seasoned GT fans. In this game, GT5 has definitely raised the level on the franchise's depth of content up to a new level, unseen in any driving game before on any console. GT5 has unparalleled visuals which as you are playing you will find are difficult to distinguish from a real live race. As with all GT games, and this Gran Turismos no expeton, it reflects the realism of ther cars you drive. Unlike in the earlier Gran Turismos, all cars in Gran Turismo will now feature real-time visual damage with adaptive and accurate car deformation all which reflects the actual point of impact and variues depending on the speed of the crash.
For the first time ever in the Gran Turismos series, in GT5 there will be a in depth and interactive online and community function. Players of Gran Turismo 5 will be able to progress to a new unseen level and earn points / credits through a wide range of game modes, such as the License Tests , Championship Races, GT Career Mode and many more. Alternatively you can simply explore the range of different circuits and courses in the standard Arcade Mode. Gran Turismo 5 will allow players to race online with up to 16 players through PlayStation Network.

Three new Gran Turismo 5 videos from Helsinki show night race
There are three new gameplay videos for Gran Turismo 5 for PlayStation 3 released, recorded in Helsinki and shows including a night race. Gran Turismo 5 Tracks and Cars
The latest game in the series is Gran Turismo 5. This updated game will include over 20 different race tracks and locations. Out of the 20+ tracks on the game there are 70 different circuits or variations of the tracks. The main guy who is in charge of GT5, Mr Yamauchi, has previously said that Gran Turismo aims to include the 1,000 car milestone in the future however even at this late stage the actual number of cars to be featured in Gran Turismo is still unknown however we do expect it to be between 950 and 1,000 cars. All the circuits on the game are real-life tracks and there is a HD video shot in 1080p which includes infomration about the course, the location and there is actual video footage of the circuit.

Recently, a teaser already indicated, the Red Bull Project X1 car for Gran Turismo at. This was revealed now in the recent UK Car Magazine review of Gran Turismo 5.
The Red Bull Car Project X1 will define the new boundaries of motorsport, which appears as an extreme car with a unique shape and mechanics, and unlike any other racer in the history of motor sport. This dream could be reality only 5 using the technology of the PS3 and the virtual environment of Gran Turismo, to the millions of users can now participate.

GT5 on the PS3
The GT car racing series has been around for many years and has become one of the best known racing videogames. GT has built up a reputation for having a extremely realistic gameplay combined with stunning Graphics. Back in the early days, GT was the first game to use real cars and clearly set the level for other driving games. Grand Turismo has always been available on the Playstation and now with the improved power found behind the PS3 - Gran Turismo 5 has again pushed that bar another level higher. In general, most car racing games including Gran Turismo have struggled to give the player a real sense of speed. Arcade racing games, virtual reality simulators both give the user a feel of movement and speed like you get in real life racing. In the early days it appeared that even Gran Turimo 5 wasn't able to do this but the most recent Gran Turismo 5 footage seems to have turned this on its head. The below GT5 Demo 24h Nuerburgring video shows a clip from Gran Turismo5 and looks like a huge improvement on the previous games' and clearly shows the Gran Turismo 5 Sense of Speed Improvement.

It has been revealed that Gran Turismo 5 might sooner or later allow players to race with motorcycles. Although the motorcycle integration is not included in the final version of Gran Turismo 5, the development studio basically have said that the Gran Turismo mastermind 'Kazunori Yamauchi' is not opposed to the two-wheeled companions and we may see Motorcycles in the game.
Kazunori Yamauchi says 'Our current development environment allows us to have to drive motorcycles, but we have to finish first Gran Turismo 5, Once this is done, it's something that we will draw on strong demand into consideration.'
New trailer presents impressive weather system
Everyone knows that the weather has a big impact on any racing game, Sony believe this should be no different in Gran Turismo 5. After Publisher Sony showed us at the Tokyo Game Show, a trailer of the upcoming racing game Gran Turismo 5 was released. This included the two videos showing the new Gran Turismo 5 Weather System, have now also now confirmed this on the official PlayStation Blog.

Gran Turismo 5 Damage
The latest driving game to hit the UK, GT5, is the first game out of all the previous Gran Turismo games and franchises which accurately portrays real damage to the car. GT5 simulates both mechanical damage to the car (such as the engine, brakes etc) as well as detailed external damage simulation. Makers of Gran Turismo 5 have even managed to replicate real-time deformation of different components of the engine which vary depending on the velocity, angle of impact and even depending on what you hit (moving vehicle, post, wall etc).

GT5 Prologue is essentially a cut down version of the game that developers out on the market for feedback and testing (amongst other reason). Gran Turismo 5 on the PSP
As with previous versions of the racing simulator, Gran T 5 will be available to buy on the PSP. There is no official release date for the PSP but we expect it to be available early 2011. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has been a good appetizer for what this driving simulator will offer, it is a fantastic driving experience, espectially if you have other racing fans to play against.

Loch Ness in G.Turismo 5?
Obviously, in Gran Turismo 5 not only contain more than one thousand vehicles, and several routes. Polyphony Digital is even allowed a little joke and built the monster of Loch Ness in Gran Turismo 5. This at least tried a new video to prove it.
